My Experience

I am a seasoned IT specialist. I started in the industry in 1996 as a service manager in a huge retail box store. I also did some of what we call in the industry "break/fix" work. Something in your computer breaks, and I fix it. This is typically done in a service center with a tech sitting at a workbench fixing one PC (or several) at a time. Often this involves hardware replacement: bad memory, motherboard, hard drive, power supply, etc. And sometimes is involves reloading operating systems, software, and running clean-up scans.

My experience has generally been on Microsoft networks, Microsoft Servers and PCs, and virtually all aspects of the Internet for business and the home. I have installed and configured literally hundreds of networks for businesses ranging from small home offices, medium sized enterprises. I am an expert with Microsoft Windows Server 2000-2003, Windows Small Business Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Active Directory.

In essence, I have managed all aspects of IT for small businesses from initial setup and configuration all the way through everyday administration, maintenance and monitoring. My experience also includes planning, configuring, and restoring backups as well as full disaster recovery. I have consulted with most of my clients to help them make the best purchases at the best prices, and many clients have asked me to plan their future IT needs and growth on a 3-5 year plan.

I also have a great deal of marketing and Internet marketing experience and can help business owners make good choices when venturing onto the Internet to expand their business.
